So, I've been meaning to address this for a while but I've been too busy to stop for a sec. What happened to the Radio Therapy Podcast?!
First off, let me give you some insight into what goes into a typical episode of Radio Therapy. Initially, I start out with a topic I want to discuss. Depending on the topic, I'll spend a few days researching things to do with it. After researching and gathering notes, I'll hit record and start the intro. Once the intro's done, I'll start recording each segment of the episode (Question of the Day, Catch Up, etc). Once everything's recorded, I'll edit there and then.
Now, that all sounds pretty basic. But then comes the distribution and marketing of each episode. This includes snippets of videos or audio for Facebook, YouTube, Twitter and Instagram. As well as the upkeep of the blogs to promote and, more importantly, maintain the link from my website to iTunes.
It's all very technical and boring when I word it but let's get into why there hasn't been a new episode of Radio Therapy...
TIME
Since the release of We're All Gonna Die! in 2017, I've been working non-stop to create and finish material ready for release. In 2018, I released One Man Show, Extinction and Recreation. But what you didn't see is what I DIDN'T release! In reality, I was working on at least 7 projects all at the same time. Don't get me wrong, it was fun but it's definitely a bit ambitious. Not to mention, I wasn't just recording. I was writing, recording, mixing and mastering everything myself. Then, in addition to those albums, I was also producing beats for KraftyBeats.com and producing the Radio Therapy podcast.
Just to state the obvious, all of these endeavours aren't finished once you think they're finished. Once I'd finished a final edit on everything, then comes to marketing. Ohhh, the marketing. Having to create thumbnails, promo pictures, blogs, video descriptions, scheduling videos on multiple platforms, writing tweets, facebook posts, instagram posts etc.... it's a lot lol
COMPLAINT OR COMPLIANT?
I am in no way complaining. I enjoy the process of everything I do creatively. However, I felt I needed to explain what goes into these things so you can understand why I haven't posted a new episode in what must be months by now.
This isn't the end. I fully intend to revive the Radio Therapy podcast. But for now, I have too much to focus on to be sitting down and chatting shit like I know what I'm talking about. I think I said it best on Facebook:
"It’s a lot of plates to juggle. Don’t get me wrong, the plates are fun to juggle but I didn’t want to drop one and smash it. Unfortunately, the beats and the podcasts had to be taken out of the loop. So instead of dropping them, I set them down nicely for the time being ?"

Anyway, I hope that clears it up a little. I had a blast launching the podcast, getting your feedback for each show, hearing your thoughts on each topic etc. You guys were actually more responsive to the podcast than some of you are to my music videos hahaha
I thank you all for supporting it and I look forward to someday picking the show back up for some more shit chatting.
For now though.... SHOW MUST GO ON!
Peace
