My music is currently being REMOVED from Spotify, iTunes, Deezer, etc. So I thought I should explain why all my music is being taken down.
Phase 1 = PAY DAY
Who doesn't love a pay day? I certainly do. Especially when it's from you lovely people! Since releasing my last two albums, We're All Gonna Die! and Not For Resale, I've managed to generate some sales. These come from people buying the albums on Amazon, iTunes etc and as well as streaming them through Spotify.
So, as any relatively smart businessman, I figured I would let the sales build up in the account before transferring them because why the fuck not?
Phase 2 = £0.00
So, pay day comes and I try to transfer the money to my account and...
You know what, I don't even have the energy to finish this blog. I explained the entire thing on YouTube and writing about it all just seems even more whiny.
What I will say is... firstly... THANK YOU for supporting my music. Whether you've bought it or played it, that's support. And I really appreciate it all. But here's where that's gotta stop.... If you see my music on Spotify or iTunes, and it's NOT my new album, then please don't buy it or play it. That money won't find it's way to me. It will go to an unnamed company that doesn't own my music but is currently benefiting from my music.
To clarify... Show Must Go On will be out on 1st of April. You can play (or buy if you'd like) and that money WILL reach me. But for now, until I update you, the other albums won't benefit me.
I know this blog post hasn't cleared much up about why my music is being taken down from all of the streaming platforms. But please watch the video and you'll understand.
The albums will be back up eventually. I hope.
Thank you for your patience and support.
